Mark Harrington worked in the British film industry as an actor, propsmaker and art director during the late 1970's He was a lecturer, associate professor and director at academies of art and design in Britain, Spain and Norway during the 1980's and 90's. He received a major stipend from Landeshaupt stadt Munchen in autumn 1999 and was artist-in-residence at Villa Waldberta, Feldafing, Munich until April 2000. Mark Harrington has been a resident of Britain for many years and currently maintains studios in Britain, Norway and Germany.
